The Young rising actress was born and raised in Berlin, Germany. She started her career in 2013 when she was Just five. Zengel appeared in the Berlin Alternative rock band music video.

Helena starred for the first time in a drama film, Die Tochter (The Daughter), in 2017.

She also took part in two episodes of Die Spezialisten – Im Namen der Opfer, a German TV series.
