Odunlade Jonathan Adekola (Born December 31, 1976) is a Nigerian Actor, filmmaker, producer, director, and singer known for his Major role in Ishola Durojaye’s 2003 movie, Asiri Gomina. Adekola was born in Abeokuta, Ogun State, but he is originally from Ekiti State.

Career

Odunlade Adekola Started his career as an Actor in 1996. He signed up for the Association of Nigeria Theatre Art Practitioners the same year. He has appeared in, directed, and produced movies in Nigeria over the years.

His pictures and videos from his movies have been used by many Nigerians for Internet Memes.

In 2018, he won his first Award as  Best Actor in a Comedy from the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards.

On September 17, 2018, he became the brand ambassador for RevolutionPlus Property Development Company and many other brands.

Education

The Movie star grew up in Abeokuta, Ogun State. Odunlade Adekola Completed his primary School Education at St. Peter’s College, Abeokuta, Ogun State. He also obtained his WAEC  before furthering to Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY), where he obtained a diploma and certificate.

In May 2018, he graduated from the University of Lagos, Nigeria, obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.

Odunlade Adekola was born into a Christian family. His mother’s name is Deaconess Adekola, and his father’s is Pastor B.A Adekola, who’s a pastor in Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) in Abeokuta, Ogun State. His dad actually started as a worker in the choir department. When Odunlade was born, he was a choirmaster in the church. After much progress in his religious voyage, he became a pastor at CAC. Both parents are highly dedicated and devoted clergy people.
