Korra Obidi hails from the Delta State Ogboli, Clan of Oshimili North. She grew up in a family of three girls. Korra is the youngest among them, her siblings are Nancy Umeh and Charity.

Her mother is no longer alive. Her family attended Deeper Christian Life Ministry, so she kept her dancing passion hidden from them as she grew up.

In 2017, she received an AFRIMMA nomination for Best Dancer. Kobbi participated in the 2017/2018 Basketball Africa League season.

While heavily pregnant, she competed in the 2019 season of the American talent show So You Think You Can Dance. She began her dance career in 2007, when she appeared in a song by Nigerian female rapper Sasha P.
