Drew Planten was born on March 7,1970 in New Jersey. He grew up there before moving to Michigan with his mother after his parents divorced.

He completed his education at Michigan State University in East Lansing in 1995 where he obtained his first degree in Zoology.  In 2000, he moved to Raleigh to work for the Agriculture Department as a Zoologist.

Drew Planten’s Personal life/ Case

Drew was not in any known relationship but he was a Peeping Tom. He was seen peering into Stephanie window before her death.

Drew was a shy guy as described by his neighbor and also a homicide killer, who has been involved in other women’s death according to the detectives in charge of his case. They discovered a pornography collection, Stephanie documents, firearms, knives and other things in his home.

Drew was arrested and sentenced to prison for killing Stephanie Bennett and also linked to the murder of Rebecca Huismann on October, 1997.

He committed suicide on January 7, 2006 in his cell with unknown subject.
